Or It Drifts

Or It Drifts

Is the purpose still alive?

Not the mission statement on the wall. Not the strategic objectives in the board presentation. The actual purpose. The belief that generated the direction that told everyone what better means before anyone asked.

If you have to look it up it's already drifting.

Ask yourself not just which way you're headed. Ask yourself why it matters that you get there.

That's the question that keeps the direction alive. And the direction is what keeps the freedom alive.

The residual energy of someone else's purpose runs out.

Your own purpose doesn't have to.

Freedom to Achieve isn't a founding principle.

It's a daily practice.

Or it drifts. And when it drifts you lose your purpose.
